Associate – Sustainability Copywriter
Melissa is a specialist environmental copywriter who works for brands addressing the climate crisis and the destruction of the natural world.
With a background in national newspaper journalism and consumer PR, she spent six years writing for the Financial Times and the best part of a decade working in London communications agencies for brands including Budweiser, Coca-Cola, Danone, Ikea and Marks & Spencer.
In 2018, her concerns about climate change led her to combine her editorial skills and in-depth understanding of brand communications and set up her one-woman eco copywriting consultancy, That Dot. She provides copy for UN bodies, renewable energy companies, charities, NGOs, trade associations and plant-based food brands.
