THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our team and help deliver standout sustainability communications for progressive businesses, international foundations and UK charities.

We use specialist insights and creative ideas to deliver strategic communications, thought leadership and flagship campaigns. Our clients’ aims vary from delivering global sustainability initiatives to changing behaviour on issues such as mental health, the climate crisis, biodiversity and responsible business practice. They include Unilever, Patagonia, the Clean Air Fund, the World Benchmarking Alliance, Centrepoint and Stonewall.

You will be working across a diverse portfolio, supporting the team with media outreach, research, project administration and more. You’ll have a wide range of opportunities to learn, with longer term potential to grow your career.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Someone who is actively interested in what’s going on in the world and wants to deliver powerful PR to protect and improve lives
  • Experience of working in an office, either through previous internships or work experience, or an initial role in PR or marketing
  • An active communicator, a good writer, a hunger for news and an eye for detail
  • A genuine interest in social and environmental action, not just as a concept but as a personal and professional focus

We value and encourage diversity and difference and believe that we are a stronger company as a result. We are keen to get applications from people from underrepresented or minoritised backgrounds.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

  • 100% commitment that all our work meets our purpose of protecting the planet and improving lives, backed by our membership of Clean Creatives
  • Award winning policies and practices, from employee ownership and B Corp status to Taking it Personally, our sustainability action plan, and the impacts we make in partnership with our clients
  • Flexible, hybrid working with a dynamic office in East London (in the office at least 3 days a week)
  • Competitive pay
  • Tailored personal development support and a dedicated line manager
  • 30 working days holiday per year + 8 bank/public holidays and opportunity to swap them for others which are more relevant to you – prorated for initial contract
  • Wide range of benefits and an active programme to improve diversity, equity and inclusion with opportunities for involvement

Please share your CV and 150 words about why you would like to use PR to tackle social and environmental issues using the link below by 7th November.
