Forster Communications was established in 1996 with a clear purpose: to use communications to protect and improve lives. We are an employee-owned founding UK B Corporation, committed to positive change and continuing to push industry boundaries.

We were founded by Jilly Forster as a values-led business, standing out from other PR agencies for commitment and focus.

Since then, we’ve:

  • Championed sustainable travel and got thousands of people out on their bikes
  • Enabled senior leaders to talk confidently about complex topics
  • Helped revolutionary ideas build into mainstream business successes

  • Developed movements that have changed society for the better

We are committed to bringing about positive change and strive to be curious, collaborative and pioneering in all we do.

Our award-winning 2020–2023 Climate Positive Plan was a first for the PR industry. In it, we set out bold commitments for action for ourselves, through our suppliers and with our clients.

Our current plan goes further, putting people and nature at the heart of climate action and committing to understanding our total impact in more detail through the development of an Integrated Profit and Loss account.

Awards and accreditation

In 2015 we became a founding UK B Corporation and since then we have won 11 Best For the World awards. Alongside ISO14001, we have set science-based targets as part of our commitment to tackling climate change and we are going beyond the requirements for small businesses to tackle our Scope 3 emissions.
