Consumer goods companies have a significant role to play in addressing global sustainability challenges – but this can only happen through industry-wide collaboration.
The CGF, which unites C-suite leaders from more than 400 retailers, manufacturers and stakeholders across 70 countries, brought us on to help increase its leadership voice on complex topics including forests, human rights, plastics, healthier lives, food waste, food safety, climate transition, supply chains and product data. Our challenge is to show the value of CGF and its Coalitions of Action, demonstrating to businesses that participation helps to drive positive change for their companies, consumers and communities without impeding competition.

Working closely with the in-house corporate communications team, our role ranges from strategic planning to running an active press office and includes profiling senior leaders from member companies. We ensure that high profile members take an active part in speaking about CGF’s significance and use their involvement to help attract new members. We always remain humble about the scale of the challenges, aware that CGF represents a broad global membership with different companies at various stages of progress.
We have attended CGF’s annual global conferences including in Kyoto, Chicago and Amsterdam, with detailed issues management and one-to-one counsel provided to CEOs. In addition to our work for the main Forum, we also support their Coalitions of Action with communications advice and activation. We advocate for progress without shying away from the complexities of the topics.
From strategy and message development to thought leadership and media management at high-profile events, we amplify the CGF’s leadership and show how it is increasing the pace of change. We have built trust with priority journalists and positioned CGF spokespeople as go-to experts for conferences and panels.
